I'm not sure about the sushi but i paid $15 for the chicken teriyaki and there was about 5 small pieces of chicken in here. The food is good but I feel a little played for getting so little chicken. View all feedback.
This sushi spot in Arcata is a hidden gem that offers incredibly tasty dishes. The ambiance has a cozy mom-and-pop feel, but the food is more on the fine dining side. We both ordered rolls featuring salmon; I can't recall the names, but they were both delicious. The miso soup, tempura vegetables, and edamame were all outstanding as well. We mistakenly ordered three sakes, which came in generously sized bottles—definitely enough for all three of us. The portions are plentiful, and everything tastes fresh. This time, we tried the seaweed salad, and it was fantastic, with a lovely roasted sesame flavor. This has now become our favorite place for sushi in Arcata!
The staff is friendly, and I’ve ordered takeout as well as dined in. Both experiences featured amazing sushi, and I highly recommend trying the octopus balls!
Delicious! It was fresh and melted in my mouth, just perfect!
Has to be the best sushi place in Arcata other restaurants pump prices and dump portions but it is quite the opposite here. Good prices, good portions, good food.
