I always appreciate the kindness my son and I receive during our frequent visits. The staff at both Subway locations in Arcata, CA, are exceptionally nice and efficient! They provide excellent customer service.

Not worth it at all. The franchisee is quite disappointing. It's absolutely worth taking a few extra minutes to drive to another location. There's no way I'm paying $15 for a sandwich only to be told that I can't have extra vegetables. That’s just ridiculous; the whole appeal of Subway is the unlimited toppings. I even offered to pay extra for olives but was turned down. Terrible service, and I won’t be returning. 0/10. I definitely recommend going to a different location.

The Subway sandwich was decent. The fresh mozzarella cheese added a bit to the price. The staff were friendly. Overall, it's an okay place for a sandwich.

3/2/22 I had a terrible experience with a woman wearing a rhinestone mask full of large holes—it was practically like she wasn’t wearing a mask at all. When I apologized, she was rude to me, and I didn’t feel safe with her mask choice. Quietly, she muttered something about the mask mandate being lifted. You would expect staff to want their customers to feel safe. Today, we even had a COVID-related death. What’s happening to people?

The customer service was terrible, especially from a young employee. The music was unbearably loud. They closed the store hours earlier than scheduled without any notice and refused to refund our mobile orders that they declined to complete.
