Nestled in a charming garden setting, this café offers a delightful atmosphere ideal for both indoor and outdoor dining. With an emphasis on locally sourced, organic ingredients, many dishes shine, particularly the vegan breakfast options and vibrant breakfast burrito. Guests enjoy the rustic ambiance, complemented by friendly staff and inviting seating arrangements. However, some diners have voiced concerns over inconsistent food quality and service, noting issues with saltiness and overcooked dishes. Despite mixed reviews surrounding certain items, the café remains a beloved spot for those seeking nourishing meals amidst a picturesque garden backdrop. A community favorite worth exploring!.

Fresh organic local food. Many choices. Beautiful garden. Friendly staff. It's a bit pricey, but it's probably got the freshest and tastiest food in town. It can bit a bit of a wait to order and get your food so be prepared for that. They also have the BEST gluten free cookies in town and maybe in the state (at least one of the best in the state). What Ann Battenfield dislikes about Cafe Phoenix:
Cute place, dog friendly, great coffee, partially good service, and the saltiest food I 've ever had. It was inedible. When I told a staff member, he seemed not to believe me. After questioning me about what was salty three times, he said I 'll let them know. We spent $45 on a breakfast neither of us could eat. We will not be back. View all feedback.

I ordered the smothered potatoes special and the cashew gravy was SO yummy. Definitely worth a visit.

Pros: cute atmosphere, inside and outside seating, flowers, picnic tables in back for groups, great coffee. Cons: relatively expensive, horrible food, poorly trained college staff, no table service. Specifics: I ordered the gluten free breakfast burrito. It was $17. Although it was visually beautiful, the tastes were completely out of balance. Extremely salty to the point of being almost inedible with a strong burnt taste and an occasional blast of excessive garlic. The burrito was also far too large for one person and I'm not a dainty eater. My wife's dish was also so salty she couldn't finish it. So overall, we would not go back, which is too bad because they must have some good dishes based on the other reviews we read. I felt like we just threw $45 out the window. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly
