the environment, service, quality, originality and presentation of dishes, everything is perfect. The chief is present in the room. The atmosphere is nice, you feel good. What a pleasure for taste buds! Happiness is to alocate the course only, to run it quickly. View all feedback.
What Russell G doesn't like about Moulin D'alotz:
A truly awful dinner experience in a restaurant I have eaten in many times! When ordering my meal the arrogant and ignorant maitre d ' informed me I must order dessert at the start of the meal if I wanted it! I informed him that I didn 't know if I would want dessert. He then individually informed each member in my party of his rule as he took each order. Starters were all good. Main courses were average mostly fish .... View all feedback.

Invited by my daughter, this meal was our Christmas gift. The Alotz plant does not pay a lost mine in the Basque green countryside. Three types of menus are offered from all plants to any animal. We chose the menu "between two". We had to clarify if we had food allergies. Indeed, the menu is not unveiled. We find out when we go. It is a seductive idea that we sometimes encounter. from the salty mouth, prologue accompanying the aperitif, the tone is given: we are at the home of an artist. a whole palette of shapes and colors are available in a great finesse of tastes and fragrances. the whole meal will only be discovered new flavors, unexpected weddings, always presented with originality. special mention for the salsifis poularde and the shell jacques. At the end of the meal, we are offered, in the same presentation, the same form, the same colors as in the prologue an assortment this time soft, epilogue of a beautiful gastronomic adventure. and for us, memorable.
03/28/2024 The Alotz mill, a gourmet stopover. A place full of serenity and tranquility in a bucolic setting. Bold, creative cuisine, a real palette of flavors with a lovely presentation. A farandole of dishes, each more surprising than the last, without a false note. The culinary walk was exceptional. Nice food and wine pairing. The service is perfectly paced and pleasant. Congratulations chef Fabrice Idiart for taking over this institution, thank you for coming to exchange a few words with us and a big thank you to your team.
We had a great time in this conceptual restaurant focused on plants. It's very generous, full of different little dishes to discover. The servers are friendly and well organized and the chef is warm. THANKS.
Fair, happy for you, your cuisine and your welcome deserve it
