Le Vilain Petit Canard - Arcambal

We liked this hotel very much -- what really impressed us was the restaurant.

Four of us turned up at Arcambal just before 7pm. The chef, a delightful young man, was just opening up and invited us to sit and enjoy a drink. We stayed and had an absolutely excellent dinner. He has only been open a couple of months, but deserves to do well. We were the only people in the restaurant but didn't feel conspicuous or embarrassed. The food was beautifully presented and tasty and was well priced. If you are boating on the River Lot, moor at Arcambal, walk up into the village, and eat here. You won't regret it.
