This is a small restaurant run by people who love their food and are extremely friendly. The menu is not large but I suspect that whatever you choose it will be special as the chef is a perfectionist and respects what he is preparing. This restaurant was a wonderful contrast to the swanky places on the seafront and a pleasure to visit. View all feedback.
Found this fish restaurant 1 street inland from the yacht marina - blue and white decor. Food delicious - we had bouillbase with 5 different fishes and moule with frites , house rosé. At 1/2 the price of the sea front restaurants this restaurant deserves...More
Found this restaurant while walking around Arcachon recently. Had a wonderful lunch. Waiter spoke little Emglish and I speak no French but we managed with lots of pointing. On his recommendation I had the Basque Seafood Soup. It's was great. Lot's of seafood, including 3 different type of fish and the soup was spicy without being too hot. I would recommend this restaurant.

A delightful find in Arcachon, this small restaurant served well prepared fish & mussels. popular with locals too! They did allow a dog in to accompany some other diners, but this is France after all.
La grand bleu is quite small, family restaurant serving simple, local and, what is the most important, very tasty food. As in many other restaurants in Arcachon you can try here fresh oysters from Bassin d'Arcachon. Good deserts, especially Crème brûlée and vanilla Flan.
