This little place is a Roads less traveled foodie find , for sure. Maria is a wonderful host. She is always smiling and holding the door wide open as soon as she see us pull up in front of the place. Everything we have had here is fabulous. By far my favorite dish is the two chili Rellenos plate with beans, rice and tortillas. The sauce is so good you dream about it!! We make sure our trip to Colusa casino is not on... View all feedback.
What Pavel Rudometkin doesn't like about Cosina's Donamaria:
I’m not sure what all the hype is about. It’s a decent restaurant with average to good customer service. The food was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. It’s straightforward, authentic Mexican cuisine. While I had no issues with the service or my overall experience, nothing particularly stood out to earn it a 4 or 5 rating. View all feedback.
This hole-in-the-wall restaurant was great, but what made it special was that the restaurant was run by just a husband and wife. They clearly pour all of their energy into this little spot and it made the experience that much better. Don't expect adventurous combinations or cuisine, but well-made standard Mexican food by a couple that puts all their effort into this restaurant.
Delicious. Salsa fresh, zanahorias, enchiladas amazing, el pastor taco special great. Great portions. Camarones ala diabla is spicy wow!
I made a quick stop here while driving on I-5 to take a break from my road trip. The restaurant was easy to access, and I had no trouble finding parking. Maria, the owner, was incredibly friendly and enjoyable to chat with—she embodies the spirit of small-town America. I ordered the Carnita burrito with all the toppings, and it was the best I’ve ever tasted. The prices were reasonable, and the food was fantastic. I'm really glad I decided to stop here!

We stopped by on a whim while heading to see the solar eclipse, and we were thrilled with Maria's fresh and delicious food. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend! - Ana
