I just got home from enjoying a fantastic 3-course meal at But n Ben. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the hake in lemon butter with capers. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, even if seafood isn't your thing, as there are plenty of other options available. Yum!
Oh, I love this place. the arbroath smokie pancakes are just over delicious. margot is a star, she always greets with such warmth and the waiting staff are exemplary. we have visited this restaurant for more than 16 years and my man family far longer. it's a joy. I just wish we'd live 5 hours closer!
It was my first visit to the Butt 'n ' Ben Auchmithie. I found the staff to be very friendly and treated us like special patrons. The food was excellent and god value for money in surroundings that were congenial to a couple wanting to have a quiet lunch and a chat. Many thanks to all the staff
The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. I ordered the Whistle Salmon Salad, which was beautiful.
Husband and I came here for dinner on our vacation this past week at the recommendation of a local in town . We are SO happy we did! Amazing food (lobster the size of my face!!!! , cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. We felt so comfortable and truly enjoyed our evening. Thank you for an amazing dinner! :0
