Chicken Chef Canada - Arborg

I would phone a simple lunch order in for one. 90% of the time they get it wrong. Forgetting part of the order etc. Swore I would never order again, and didn't for over two years. Then I decided to give them a try one more time. I should have opened my bag right up in store to check my order. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. When I got to work..surprise..missing half my order. So frustrating!! Had to drive back to get it. They always give me the missing items, but never apologize, and never offer any other compensation ( which would ease the pain a bit). This time they lost my business forever.

Food is good and plenty of it. Staff is friendly and efficient. Good take out but no delivery. Comfortable. A local meeting place.

This is your basic no frills restaurant. Breakfasts are good, but they were running short on staff when we were there.

Chicken Chef's are chicken chef's and of course you can not expect top notch dining here. However, this is the best Chicken Chef I have ever been too as far as food quality goes. It's always hot and fresh and there's just something about it that is tastier than most. Again, you can't expect anything more than your usual greasy diner food...but if that's the expectation you go in with... It's good! They have a tasty honey dill sauce with their chicken fingers and their poutine is decent as well. Their pizza is suuuper greasy but if you don't mine that... Good. Their Hawaiian salad is also pretty good. Obviously this isn't a restaurant you make a point of going to, but if you are in the area and need a place to eat it's one of the better options.

We went here as two couples on Sunday after church service. Obviously, others had the same thought and enjoyed tasty meal here‎. We ordered their Express Lunch, which was three different parts of a chicken with lots of French fries and gravy. The women enjoyed their Quesadillas wit onion rings and of course, all this was served with freshly brewed coffee. Big portions, very friendly staff and efficient. This is another place with tasty Mennonite meals.
