Good food and local wines. The chicken was amazing. Service a bit slow but I liked that they made room for a group who came in w/o a reservation looking desperate. Nice staff. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Les Arcades:
We came in on a cold april night after recommandations from our local hotel. We were welcomed warmly by the chef and were seated nicely in the middle of the restaurant. We chose to eat a la carte. We both had the foie gras starter,...which was quiet good and which we enjoyed very much. My wife then had a whole trout in a special sauce and I had some chicken in a sauce morilles. Neither of them really hit our taste. T... View all feedback.
I saw it with luck. Had our best cheese fondue (with cepes mushrooms), and wonderful desserts. The restaurant was full of locals to get so much luck.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. One of us had the cheese fondue, salad and charcuterie, the other had the menu. We were both very happy with meals. We want to come back.
We ate here twice during our week-long stay in Arbois, giving it the benefit of the doubt after our first visit. Each time we came away thinking the menu choice was good as was the food when it eventually arrived. 35 minutes of waiting for...the first course to arrive should not happen. And the staff don't seem to understand the value of smiling, especially a couple of the waitresses.
We spent a very enjoyable evening at Les Arcades. We sat outside in the courtyard, enjoyed good service from friendly staff, and good local food. The quality is good, and the flavours were tasty. The cremant was also very good.
Visited this little gem whilst staying in the nearby village of Pupillin. Don't be put off by the somewhat shabby exterior of the building, venture around the back to the entrance which opens up in to a very pleasant little bistro. The food here was...excellent and the best meal we ate on our 11 night trip. Our party of three consumed a three course meal with wine for around €150. Given that this included foie gras it represented incredibly good value for money. Everything was delicious, well cooked and presented. The service was good but expect to speak a little french to the young staff. We would be very pleased to return if in the area.
