great setting, great wine and service, highly recommended! In the middle of their own vineyard, it offers excellent food and wine, and Fernanda takes the time to talk to the diners explaining the menu and wines of the evening. Fantastic! View all feedback.
As an Architect of myself, everytime when I travel I like to find something valuable sightseeing to visit, this year I go to Italy of Venice, because my husband is an American, so we’re planning to go the US Marines party anyway, so we going to a town call Spilimbergo which is also famous on “Town of Mosaic”, the town located at north Italy its influenced by Rome, Austrians and Slovenians from 15 century! When I am here, I am attracted by the art of mosaics……..In short, we search top 10 things near by on internet, I found this Tenuta Fernanda Cappello it’s a secrect winery, a restaurant, a wine bar, and have mosaics? So we go to advanture. Only 5 minute drive, me and my husband arrived, the first thing in my eyes, immediately, a beautiful curve shape building catched in my eyes, not sure it’s a little castle or restaurant or the grand Vienyeard, Tenuta Fernanda Cappello around with beautiful fresh flowers, green garden, romantic red little trees, the most important its they have wifi and free!! We had a fresh original homecraft wine, light music, beautfiful blue sky fairy tale view, we spent almost 5 hours there, try their Pinot Grigio, Traminer Cabernet Franc, really fresh and tasty, with some snack, very reasonable price, we also took the bike to ride around its free too! The other highlighted is the bar side have a mosaic column, big amazing full of history. Last, we just knew the end of the road 2 hours drive over the mountain its Austria, next time we will come again before we go to Austria for skiing!
