Tried this lovely little bakery during a trip through. Focaccia breaky roll was pretty impressive and service was speedy. Plenty of seating . Lovely little spot. Coffee was a bit milky for a cappuccino, but overall would come back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Waack's Ararat Bakery:
We've been here a number of times on journeys interstate or going to the Grampian. Perfectly fine meals (pies, vanilla slices and coffees) all at a reasonable price. Right in the heart of town. Interesting artworks on the walls from local artists for sale inside. View all feedback.
The restaurant offers a wide selection of pies. We decided to try the chicken and leek pie, which had generous chunks of chicken and a flavorful sauce. The coffees were expertly prepared, with the perfect drinking temperature and frothiness. I particularly enjoyed the well-blended caramel latte and the delicious flat white.
The staff at this cafe are very friendly and welcoming. The cafe is nicely decorated and has a cozy seating area for dining in. They offer a wide variety of cakes, pies, pastries, fresh salad sandwiches, and a small selection of hot fried foods. They also have delicious in-house burgers, toasted rolls, and sandwiches. Their menu includes a diverse selection of hot and cold drinks.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a quick lunch. The variety of options on the menu is wonderful, and their award-winning vanilla slice is a must-try.
Had a really nice meal, chicken wraps were huge, Parma Salad was also big, salad dressing was really nice, Pulled Pork burger was tasty but small for an adult. After reading my review I realised it was NOT for the Ararat Bakery it was for The Hub Cafe in Port Fairy so sorry everyone !
Excellent Vanilla slice Lived up to the expectation
