Fish On Barkly is what you'd hope for from a takeaway fish n' chip store. The store is immaculately clean (even the burners/grill), service is fast and food is reasonably priced. It's a good choice for a quick stop or to collect takeaway. Unfortunately they don't offer crumbed fish. View all feedback.

I hope you only like fried flake because fried fish is the only way they cook it. They do not crumb, as the lingering shaking head of the young lady serving suggested. She apparently could not find her words. The food was oily and didn't taste of much else, except the oil it was cooked in. The fish was small inside its large crispy batter. A great menu, reasonable prices and friendly service. A super place to visit when you want a night off from cooking. Orders can be phoned in advance.
Just here for a Sunday night so not a lot of activity but found this chippy open, cooked fresh and was nice and tasty.
They are very popular with the locals, plenty of choices to select from, the take away was very tasty and not greasy.
We have fish and chips here at least once a fortnight is the best grilled fish you can get i've also had there souvlaki's very good The only reason they don't get top vote is I not a big fan of their chips
Beautiful food just popped in on way back to Melbourne. Very busy shop goes to show very popular. Fish was so so tasty. If you are ever looking for quick food go in here
