Although obviously understaffed the lass waiting on our table and many others was warm, friendly and very helpful. I think her name was Kerry (pink hair) was an absolute delight to deal with and extremely understanding when one of our family members became seriously unwell and we ended up having to leave before our deserts arrived so it was bundled up to take home. What K Z doesn't like about Ararat Rsl:
Average customer service food. The bistro had barely any patrons but I waited over ½ an hour just for a measley bread roll which I scoffed because I was starving. Finally my steak arrived after at least 45 minutes the vegetables were way overdone- the brocolli was soggy pale green the chips were barely warm. The garlic sauce had actual slices of garlic mixed with cheese cream so it was a bit offputting. It's a shame... View all feedback.
Had no issues. Meals were served within 15 of ordering, they were hot, tasty plentiful. Both of us couldn't finish our meals we had the Angus burger which were very large. Drinks were reasonable, so dinner for 2 under $60 is a bonus these days. Good job guys keep it going.
The Ararat RSL is a great little venue and easily located in town. Meals are good value for money and very tasty and the service was perfect. We came in for lunch and dinner and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The only detractor on the atmosphere was the sound of the pokies in the background, but overall that was a small negative on a well run, friendly venue.
Attended for lunch this date. First time dining at this venue. Modern, very tidy and pleasant venue with professional service. Meals (roast of the day Parmy) were reasonably priced and great quality (also has kids menu). Highly recommended.
Went without pre-booking but front desk staff was very helpful and find us nice place for dining.

I have eaten here many time when visiting our elderly parents and is a family favourite always great top quality meals and service. Only disappointment is the recognition and credits from other RSL branches, I did get a small discount off the bill but not the usual as a RSL member but not the same if I had been a member of their branch.
