We choose the special tom... read more Finding the entrance was not so easy but once inside the upper terrace commands a lovely view across the street to the gardens beyond. We choose the special tomatoes and anchovies which was nice. My duck salad was ok though I would have liked more duck and less salad! My wife wanted the lubina but unfortunately it wasn’t available so the chef talked her into trying the hake. Not a great choice for €29! All in it was ok. Service was good until I wanted to pay and there was no one around!

The place is really well decorated. The prices are high and I wonder if it worth it. I don't know other alternatives in Aranjuez to compare. Bottom line: I would repeat but I might try a different option if I get a recommendation

I had the salmon terri... read more Set in a historical building next to Aranjuez palace, Careme is probably worth a visit. Their food was really good and service attentive. I had the salmon terrine to start followed by asparagus heart stuffed with sea urchin. Main course was poached hake with clams and dessert was chocolate volcano with ice cream and sauce of two fruit. Everything was tasty. Portions were huge! Feedback for improvement would be that they should PLEASE serve some vegetables! No vegetables, no potato in sight during my five course meal!

It was a g... read more Careme is located in front of the Royal Palace and its garden. It has a magnificent terrace with excellent views. Staff were polite and professional. It was a good meal, but nothing out of the ordinary. However the bill was! Definitely worth a visit just for the views.
