We walked by this restaurant and decided to give it a shot! What a surprise! The food is more than delicious. We tried de salmon, provolone and costillar. One better than the other! Definitely recommendable! I’ll be back for sure! The staff is also giving attention to basically every detail9 even the real flowers on the table!
Great food, not fancy but very well executed, the best deserts that i had during this trip in Spain. They Could improve their english which....doesn’t exist : Highly recommended
Food of mixed quality. Good Langostinos Crujientes, but ordinary and too heavy Rabo de Toro. Dessert quality alright, but not served cold enough. Decent enough wines. Worse aspect is the service : absent, and impression they wish you were not there. Mistake in the bill. Nice dining room. But would not return.
A warm and welcoming establishment. The host Jesus I think, leads by example in this well appointed bar restaurant. A relaxed yet thriving feel prevails here. The beer on tap is cold and streets ahead of anything on a similar par in the UK. A hidden delight in Aranjuez. Lovely that places like this exist. Con unos ganas para volver y disfrutar la buena vida que existe aqui ! Enhorabuena.
Almibar is set in the historic and lovely centre of Aranjuez, a sleepy Spanish town with a grand and ancient palace. It's beautifully decorated and the staff are welcoming and amazing! We had mountains of delicious tapas, fresh tomatoes and onion, mussels, cerviche, you name it. Mains followed which were even better: truffle risotto, giant, buttery calamari, succulent meat cuts, salads. Then dessert, fresh Seville orange ice cream, warm chocolate and nut cake etc. A great time was had by all and the prices: cheap! Extremely affordable for top class food. Do visit if in Aranjuez!
