Despite us being a group of 13, they managed to seat us without any issues, and the service was perfect for a home-cooked meal for such a large party.

We found Kitchen Table Cafe on Google, impressed... read more My softball team and I were visiting from Houston for a local tournament and wanted to enjoy some local dining. We found Kitchen Table Cafe on Google, impressed by their menu and positive reviews about the food and staff. My wife and I arrived first and asked the hostess about our reservation for ten people. She returned with the manager, who explained that reservations aren’t accepted on music nights. We understood but then asked if they could still seat all ten together. The manager said we would have to sit at separate tables, with different waitstaff and separate checks, which we accepted. When the rest of our team arrived, the manager again emphasized we’d be split up and it might take a moment to arrange seating. While waiting near the entrance, we noticed open tables inside. The manager claimed those tables were reserved, despite saying they don’t take reservations on music nights. When we asked about sitting inside, she said those tables were reserved for others, adding that they don’t accommodate large table reservations. As the group of ten waited, the manager returned to inform us that our tables weren’t ready yet. We suggested combining tables since there was only one other group inside, but she said those tables were reserved and that we’d have to wait 20 minutes for one to become available—and that we would then all be on one check. My wife asked if we could order drinks at the bar while waiting, but the manager said only if the bartender had time and wasn’t busy with outdoor guests. This experience was disappointing. Kitchen Table Cafe missed the chance to serve a respectful group that truly values good service. I’ve never encountered such poor treatment and dishonesty from a local restaurant. If they didn’t want us there, they should have been upfront about it.

The main 5 star review was the delivery that was amazing. This is the first time I have ever had burgers delivered thatwere at requested temp! Lots of extras, large portions, and very thoughtful packaging. They're making me fatter but that's myown fault. Top notch.
