very welcoming when they walk in the door. people are happy and I was great and tired, yes table service is here! had a beer and my wife had a glass of wine. very busy, but the service was still eating. we have awarded the bbq plate with ribs and brisket. good place for sport on tw and very clean. What User doesn't like about Sid's Smokehouse:
This restaurant seemed like a good spot to try some BBQ, but the experience was disappointing. Firstly, the waitress seemed more focused on chatting with the regulars and ignored our table. The food was bland, especially my pulled pork sandwich which lacked flavor and had poorly shredded meat with large chunks that were difficult to eat. Overall, it felt like this place caters more to the local crowd. View all feedback.
Actually, just average. Brisket was lukewarm, not very tender. Mac and cheese was pretty good. Beans were ok. Sauced is much better, but at a price.
Another hidden gem for great BBQ and plenty of TVs to enjoy a game.
Friendly staff and delicious food ! Chill environment
My husband went to Sid's last night. We had ordered 1/2 slab plus potato salad and coleslaw. We were given old ribs that were dried out and we were given the ends that were so tough you couldn't eat them. We will never ever go back. This isn't the first time this happened to us. The manager when we complained the first time gave us a replacement. However, to do it the second time is unforgiveable. NEVER, again and I will spread the word about the lousy old food we received. My business will be going to Aptos BBQ
How is this place still open? They are incredibly rude, the food is blah, and they have an open hostility regarding public health. If they won't wear a mask to take your order, IMAGINE what they're doing with your food behind closed doors. Here's hoping this is one of the businesses that DOESN'T survive the pandemic. The food shows up at random family/community get togethers and it's blobs or flavorless grissle and un-rendered fat. The beans were a mixture of mush and undercooked. They're clearly mixing different batches from different days. The sides in general are sitting around for quite a while. Think Safeway deli at the end of the day, but triple the price.
