When we arrived at the apartment, the refrigerator was off and when we opened the freezer compartment, a lot of water was pouring out. In addition, there was mold in the refrigerator, so we had to dry the floor and the refrigerator and wash the refrigerator and turn on the power as soon as we arrived at the accommodation. The staff of the restaurant and the pool department were friendly and the service there was generally good, the breakfast and other food and drinks were good. However, the customer service at the respa was rude and unfriendly from the start. Our group lost clothes (and even a Finnish-language magazine) from our apartment, and when we went to the respa to talk about it, they didn't believe us. No one else visited our apartment except the cleaner so he must have taken them. We were told that we are lying and that their cleaners have never stolen and have been working for a long time. However, things were taken from us and left on the road (the girl's eye patches, which probably went away when the sheets were changed, but they never came back even though we went to report them missing), the Adidas sweatpants of another family's girl, the mother's sports top and Me Naiset magazine. The pants were in the room either on the floor or on top of the bag from which they were taken, but the top was taken from the suitcase. The location of the hotel and the hotel itself was good, but the rude and violent behavior of the customer service and the fact that we were not taken seriously caused the experience that we will not come to that hotel again. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, if you go there, get locks on your suitcases and keep your stuff there and everything important with you! Just come back from a fabulous 10 days staying here (2adults, 2 young kids . Everyone working at the hotel was super helpful and friendly. The apartment was a good size and kept spotless by the cleaning staff. Location is brilliant with a bus stop right outside straight into Chania. Five minutes walk either way are gorgeous sandy beaches. We normally like to eat in different places every night when we're on holiday, but the food here was so good (and reasonably priced we ended up eating dinner 4 nights, as well as having a few lunches and a couple of breakfasts! Only very slightly improvement for me (and it really is slight.... would be to have a little cupboard in the lounge where the kids were sleeping on sofa beds- just so they have a proper space of their own. There's also a little supermarket on site where you can pick up all the basics, and again, quite reasonably priced . Definitely recommend! Very clean, excellent service, food was very reasonably priced and was faultless, special mention to the staff, they were always helpful and friendly, made for a great holiday in Chania, Safety: Staff always looking out for my kids, brilliant!! Hotel apartments good value for money. At the time we came we always found space. A small grocery store nearby. Bar Restaurant. Quite noisy apartment close to the road but after a day of walking it is not disturbing. Housekeeping done every day and towels replaced. Sheet changed 3 times in 5 days. Rooms: Minimalist room but the essentials are there. Large bed 160 Hotel highlights: Great value

Lovely and caring staff (from the cleaning lady to the receptionist to the bar/restaurant staff The swimming pool is good (even if not tested but too bad it is in the shade from mid afternoon Very clean hotel and always room on the street to park even if you come home late Very good restaurant at low prices; we enjoyed the wine at the end of the meal offered by the house : Small downsides: Hotel a little out of the way from restaurants, shops, etc. Old fashioned room in need of a good renovation!
