Phyllo Breakfast Brunch - Aptera

One of my favourite spots in the old town. Great for brunch coffee and small desserts! Gets very busy but is worth it! So head there earlier in the morning

Lovely little brunch place in the heart of old town Chania. Modern food presentation and menu that would hold its own in San Francisco or Boston. Wait staff spoke good English, and also inquired about food allergies. The latter being absolutely wonderful in Greece. Ordered the greek yogurt and fruits. Overall, quite tasty but some of the fruit was mealy. Also ordered the turmeric latte, which comes with oat milk by default. Latte was flat due to the particular oat milk used. Unfortunately not as good as the other Phyllo by the Sea (which was exceptional! The menu was good but service, while friendly wasn’t the best. They forgot our coffees, said they would check on them twice and did not as after we finished our meal they said they had lost the order. When we said not to just cancel the coffees they said they would make them to go, for free. Then after we paid our bill and left we found that they had still charged us for the coffee.
