I love walmart and I was excited when it managed to come to Appomattox...But I find not a whole lot of choices here.. although, there's still plenty to shop for, there's areas that could use more improvement. The arts and crafts area, for example, needs help. Nobody wants to travel 45 minutes to lynchburg for something as small as apple barrel paint. What My More doesn't like about Walmart Supercenter:
The Walmart itself is nice maybe not quite as big as some other Walmarts but me and my wife had an issue with four rude employees in the shoe department and I had to wait in the customer serive line to report it to their manager on duty because they were so far out of line View all feedback.

It felt like a Dollar Tree experience! Went to get nothing and left with a handful!
Walmart in Appomattox Courthouse is the closest store to James River State Park. Store was clean and well organized. They had everything we needed. Their Diesel price was $0.75 cheaper than the nearest fuel station a mile away which was mind boggling. Gas price was significant cheaper also.
One stop shop!! Love itI find just about everything I need.
Always have what I am searching for....and the best price anywhere. Very happy customer.
