It was a short visit, so this will be a short review. We were heading to Lynchburg for a glamping weekend and realized we didn't have any drinking water. This Kroger was conveniently on the way so we stopped in. Things were clean and easy to find. The store felt a little darker compared to other Kroger locations I've visited. I think it just wasn't updated. Staff was friendly. No complaints! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kroger:
they had very visible signs at the entrance of the load over covid 19 and asked the people to stay a few feet from other buyers. when we checked out [self control, there was a problem to scan upc on an object. a hired man came from behind me and leaned on me and touched my body to help me. I am a cancer patient and could have done without this kind of help. I'm done with this loading when I'm overlived. thanks to wal... View all feedback.
I can't even express how many cakes would be needed to make up for this place! It's absolutely terrible, and Sims is a poor excuse for a load manager. The staff is made up of young, immature individuals who are rude and disrespectful. The quality of the food has declined significantly over the past two years. No one here takes their job seriously enough to maintain a decent standard!
The staff at Apotheke is wonderful. I recently relocated from Lynchburg to this area, and they effortlessly transferred all my prescriptions from the Boonesboro location.
My first encounter occurred while I was shopping. I turned a corner and nearly bumped into a worker and her cart. I apologized and maneuvered my cart around her, but I overheard her rudely saying, "I'm busy with my phone" as I passed. I had my Instacart lanyard on to identify myself, but it seems that didn't matter. The second unpleasant experience happened at the register. As I was placing my items on the belt, the cashier started scanning them before I could let her know that this was for Instacart. I stopped her and showed her the barcode, but she rudely insisted I should have scanned it earlier. She exchanged a glance with the bagger, and instead of addressing my concern, they started scanning everything from the beginning. The bagged items were then carelessly held over the counter. When I finally left, I sarcastically wished them a wonderful day. As I walked away, I heard the cashier and bagger laughing and whispering to each other, completely ignoring the customers waiting in line. I'm balancing a full-time job and school while delivering groceries in my free time just to make ends meet, and I was really put off by the terrible attitudes I encountered here. I won’t be returning.

[they're so outdated that they're running their employee shoppers.
I am 71 and immune compromised. I was anxious about the thought of going to the store. I used the online delivery service and it was great. The person filling my order Shanna was wonderful. She notified me as she went along with any items I needed that was not available. She substituted where she could. She did a great job providing an excellent serviceis . Thank you Shanna and thank you Kroger Donna demer
