The appetizers were generously sized, so it is recommended to order them for a party of 4 or more. However, my partner and I attempted to finish them and couldn't. Overall, the experience was worth it despite the food coma. A perfect 10/10.

First time here, got the 2 meat plate with catfish and sausage and collard greens, hush puppies and corn bread. The collard greens were amazing, the hush puppies were Perfect. Everything was perfect! Be sure to try their waffles—they're packed with taste and have a distinctive texture. The chicken and waffles is a highlight, but there are plenty of other waffle varieties to explore. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is served hot and beautifully presented. Although the restaurant could benefit from a facelift, the outstanding food more than compensates. Don’t miss the fried okra, a perfect side, while the blues music in the background enhances the warm, inviting vibe. I’m already looking forward to returning for more delicious meals and waffles.

The chicken and butter pecan waffle featured a tasty waffle, but the chicken portion was a bit lacking. The ribs were satisfactory, and while the hush puppies were well-fried, they could have used more seasoning. I did appreciate the okra, though. The service was adequate until a staff member came in and made a loud complaint about someone she disliked, which felt unprofessional in a dining environment. I wanted to really enjoy this place, but ultimately, I didn't. While I appreciated some aspects of the meal, I'm uncertain if I would choose to return.
