The food at this restaurant is superb. The pies are bursting with flavor, and the sausage rolls are not just a bunch of pastry with minimal filling. The pastie was absolutely delicious, and it's hard to find a good pastie these days. View all feedback.
What rementon doesn't like about Appin Bakery:
My wife an I bought a pie and sausage roll at the Appin Bakery, Sunday Lunch 16th May. They were the worst we have ever had. The centre of the pie could have been sucked through a straw, very sloppy and no real meat. The sausage roll was very bland and tasted more like turkey stuffing, no sign or taste of any real sausage meat. This we cannot understand as sausage meat is cheap enough. They both went in the bin where... View all feedback.

The beread here was so fresh and the pies and sausage rolls were beautiful. Very friendly staff and clean premises
Appin bakery is a beautiful small town bakery. It has pies, bread, cakes and good coffee. It doesn't have PayPass or eftpos facilities but does have an ATM in store. I love the gluten free summer tarts from there they are not too sweet and they have a nice texture and different to any other gluten free cake I've tried. They are delicious. The is limited seating outside. If you are using this as a travel stop there is a park just up the road with bathrooms and Rv pump out facilities. I would recommend a stop here is is a nice little bakery. My recommendation would be the caramel summer tart. Don't be fooled thinking it would be too sweet it is just the right balance of sweetness.
Appin Bakery is more like a gourmet bakery than the usual ones you get elsewhere in Sydney. You can even view the bakers hard at work behind a glass window. Appin Bakery's coffee is deemed one of the best in the Macarthur region, and many people will go out of their way just to sample it. It's worth it, trust me!Not only this, their freshly baked pies are to die for & the selection of sweets is mind blowing. Love the breads, which are always fresh; if I miss out I just pick up a loaf from the local Supa IGA store. Supporting local business is best!!
This is where I get my coffee every morning and it's the best in town. They have a large range of baked goods including pies, sausage rolls, cakes, bread and so much more which are always fresh and tasty. They also open from 4am to 5pm so handy for any time of the day.If you're visiting or passing through Appin make sure you make a pit stop here for a treat (or ten).
