Restaurant Lowen - Appenzell

After the reviews of tripadvisor we wanted to eat in the rest. Unfortunately, it is now reorganized and you can't go to eat anymore. Pity

First time visit this small village. We tried this restaurant as recommended in trip-advisor and must say that "we love the dish and service." The food is very good. And the place is cute. Unfortunately, there is no dessert in winter.

We were walking in the cute town of appenzell and came across this hotel, and in local brochure listed with traditional appenzell music so we decided to have dinner here. We were in for a treat! The hotel was very cute low ceilings, traditional and the performers were 5 young ladies with traditional costumes performing. Dinner was delicious, we had crispy fish with great salad, and lentils tomato pasta. Everything in appenzel was pricey, but worth the experience, you can look out the window into the streets. Highly recommended.

Hervorragendes Essen und äußerst freundliches Personal.

Das Hotel lag mitten im Zentrum von Appenzell. Wir haben zwei Nächte im Hotel gebucht und waren begeistert. Die Zimmer waren vor kurzem renoviert. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und weich, das Badezimmer wunderschön und neu mit ebenerdigen Duschen! Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und frisch mit Früchten, verschiedenen Brotsorten, Fleisch und verschiedenen Fruchtsäften. Das Personal war auch sehr, sehr freundlich. Jederzeit gerne wieder!
