Although the restaurant advertises Baden cuisine and hospitality, these promises were not fulfilled during our visit. The food was disappointing overall. One plate contained three different types of croquettes, which were neither culinary nor visually appealing. The sauce clearly seemed like a ready-made product, and a side salad, which one would expect with a main course in this category, was not offered. The service also fell short of the advertised standards. We were guests with three adults and two children, but the waitresses showed little enthusiasm or warmth – even though the restaurant was sparsely populated. Especially in a family-friendly establishment, one should expect more attentiveness and friendliness. Overall, our visit was unfortunately disappointing. Neither the cuisine nor the service were convincing, so we cannot currently recommend the Hertwig 's Linde restaurant. *The Coca Cola was good*
