The Back Room Steakhouse - Apopka

Everything that we ordered was excellent as always. From the service to the drinks and the food. Nothing but good things to say. Owner is incredibly nice as well and takes care of his staff.

This was our first time to The Back Room and it delivered. We went for the magical dining deal and it was a great value. The short rib egg rolls were delicious as was the coconut shrimp. The steaks were cooked a perfect medium and they were not over seasoned. Finished with delicious chocolate cake and key lime pie. Service was friendly and very efficient.

BACKROOM STEAKHOUSE in APOPKA? FAIL!!! Went here for dinner tonite...Three of us ordering Magical Dining menu, I ordered off the menu...My MEDIUM RARE NY Strip came out medium well...Their manager looked at it, admitted that I was right, and said he would have the steak remade...The OWNER came back and showed me the inside of the MEDIUM WELL steak, and said, This looks perfect...What 's the problem? I think it was the lighting...Do you want this? I said no, and asked for it to be recooked...I waited TWENTY MINUTES...everyone else at the table finished their meals, but mine was still a no-show. I asked our server and the manager...Both apologized, and said they 'd get it out ASAP...Never showed. I finally got up and told the manager to cancel it. The owner came up, put his hands on me, and said that there was nothing wrong with my steak, I said, TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME! He said, Don 't come back...I don 't want you in my restaurant ...They comped nothing, AND tried to add a 20% surcharge on the ENTIRE bill, including the bottle of wine and cocktails...They COULD have made this right, but chose not to...I will NEVER go back here. UTTER FAILURE!!!!!!! Here 's my dinner...PBJ at home
