Was Mark Bittinger at Flavio's a mag?
The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the service is exceptional! Just be patient as they are understaffed like many other places. The quality of the food definitely makes up for any wait time. I highly recommend dining in for dinner. The price per person is $30–50. Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5. View all feedback.
What Beth Ann Davis dislikes about Flavio's:
Owner is VERY RUDE!! our first visit here she said it’s reservations only and almost did not seat us even though there was only 2 other customers. After dinner she said to make sure to make reservations next time. Today we called to make a reservation and she said they don’t take specific time reservations ?!?! What the heck?? Does she want people to make a reservation or what? If she doesn’t want to take customers t... View all feedback.

Flavio’s is an amazing restaurant. The chef, Pete, makes everything to perfection and the food is absolutely delicious. We go at least once a week, and my wife has gone every week since she was a kid. We have taken friends there and they always ask when we’re going back. Everything is fresh and homemade. This is an amazing restaurant with amazing staff. You can sit down and enjoy drinks with family and friends. It’s real fine dining and a MUST go to place. Truly one of a kind. The owners take pride in quality food, quality service, and real satisfaction. If you want cheap frozen food and to be rushed out asap, go to Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, etc...if you want amazing, authentic food, go to Flavios!!!
An absolute amazing dinner for 4 last night at Flavios for a dear friend’s birthday. The owner went out of her way to make us feel special, the food was outstanding, and our waitress, Devina, was the best! She made the evening so enjoyable with her fun personality! We are still laughing today!
We were here once, and it was a fairly nice experience. The dated decor was charming in it 's own way, and had its own unique style which was kind of fun. The food was pricey but made correctly, and the menu was very basic but the portions were decent. This past time we went, prices have risen sharply due to inflation, and I understand that. But Flavios will not be able to withstand the next few years if they continue on the same trajectory. A veal chop with a baked potato and steamed broccoli is simply not interesting enough to make me shell out 30 dollars. No music, no candles, a piece of paper as a menu, plastic water pitchers, old carpet and grumpy managers does not fine dining make. Flavios: I would love to see you offer some interesting side dishes with your higher priced items. For instance, risotto instead of a baked potato... Or vegetables in a cream or butter sauce would be a nice touch. Bread with olive oil, anything that makes your customer feel special would have been lovely. Be kinder to your details... They make, or break, an experience.

After seeing great reviews, we decided to give this place a try, even though it may not look appealing from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was worth the visit.
This restaurant is perfect for families! The owners are friendly and experienced. The food is exceptional! The veal is consistently cooked perfectly, no matter how it's prepared. I can't praise it enough.

The best hidden gem in Kiski Valley. Top-notch meat selections and a fantastic atmosphere. Carol makes amazing drinks. You can't go wrong with choosing this place.
Flavio's is a traditional Sicilian steakhouse that has been in business for 50 years. The 74-year-old chef, only able to prepare a limited number of meals each night, so it's recommended to make reservations in advance. With five decades of experience, Flavio and his wife provide a fine dining experience where you can enjoy the peak of his culinary skills. The restaurant is upscale and there is ample parking in the private lot next door. Upon arrival at 4:55pm, we had to wait until 5:05pm to be seated, even with reservations. The restaurant began to fill up by 6:30pm, with a total of 10 tables in the dining room. The standout dish was the filet mignon, cooked perfectly medium rare with a crispy exterior. The seafood and gnocchi pasta also received praise from our table. Expect additional charges for various items on the menu. The Petite Syrah no 48 wine was recommended and complimented the meal well. The seasoned potatoes and broccoli were delicious sides, while the Caesar salad was decent. The marinara sauce was average, and some dishes such as the Chicken Provencal were criticized for being overly sweet. The homemade gnocchi was a standout, while some pasta dishes seemed reheated. The dessert options, including cheesecake and Spumoni, were satisfying but not outstanding. The service was good, and the oysters and shrimp cocktail were well-prepared. Overall, with upcharges and top-end dishes, our bill for four people came to $313, including drinks, appetizers, salads, and desserts. Despite some flaws, Flavio's offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that is worth experiencing.
