Simple and perfect fresh local seafood (and meat) in a casual breezy setting. We had a delicious lunch with grilled snapper and the best potatoes for miles. Great local wine list Best place for miles!
Hands down one of Australia's best seafood restaurants. Menu always features beautiful and respectful examples of how best to enjoy locally sourced fish and meats. Service is warm and knowledgeable, with excellent attention to detail. Each visit here is exciting.
The duck was awesome, and the view is always lovely. We always try and come here if we’re in Apollo Bay they also do a great brunch.
Unexpectedly great! Our friends and I are staying one night in Apollo Bay and looked for a place with simple, fresh and tasteful dishes. And we found our heaven at La Bimba! I only chose a side (their amazing Heirloom tomatos salad) but my friend ordered fresh vegetables, meat and fish. The fish to share was fantastic, the sides amazingly cooked sides. The meat were overcooked but we have been well advised on wines. Must try place down here!
We stopped in Apollo Bay for an overnight on our trip along The Great Ocean Road. We found this little gem of a restaurant. We arrived rather early (6:30/18:30) and were seated right away. We ordered a few appetizers the carpaccio was delicious, as were the oysters and octopus. The sourdough bread would have kept me happy all by itself. We shared the Paella amongst the 4 of us and it was delicious. The whole experience was fantastic and would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The 2nd floor location would provide for some great views in summer.
