Was Erick Denesik at La Bimba a mag?
We stopped at this place for coffee and muffin. Located above the Bakery, this place it beautifully decorated with a great view. The coffee was spot on and the muffin was fresh and tasty. I hope next time we will visit we will be able to taste more options from this gem place. View all feedback.

What Evan Greenfelder dislikes about La Bimba:
Have visited with my wife in previous years. Last time for dinner so this time thought we'd try breakfast. Left a bit under whelmed. I had the breakfast wrap. It was very bland indeed. My wife had poached eggs. Hers was cold and the eggs yolk had hardened. I wouldn't really have cared but I was paying above average prices, so I expect these things not to happen. The service was good. The overall ambiance of the place... View all feedback.

Simple and perfect fresh local seafood (and meat) in a casual breezy setting. We had a delicious lunch with grilled snapper and the best potatoes for miles. Great local wine list Best place for miles!

Hands down one of Australia's best seafood restaurants. Menu always features beautiful and respectful examples of how best to enjoy locally sourced fish and meats. Service is warm and knowledgeable, with excellent attention to detail. Each visit here is exciting.

Unexpectedly great! Our friends and I are staying one night in Apollo Bay and looked for a place with simple, fresh and tasteful dishes. And we found our heaven at La Bimba! I only chose a side (their amazing Heirloom tomatos salad) but my friend ordered fresh vegetables, meat and fish. The fish to share was fantastic, the sides amazingly cooked sides. The meat were overcooked but we have been well advised on wines. Must try place down here!

We stopped in Apollo Bay for an overnight on our trip along The Great Ocean Road. We found this little gem of a restaurant. We arrived rather early (6:30/18:30) and were seated right away. We ordered a few appetizers the carpaccio was delicious, as were the oysters and octopus. The sourdough bread would have kept me happy all by itself. We shared the Paella amongst the 4 of us and it was delicious. The whole experience was fantastic and would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The 2nd floor location would provide for some great views in summer.
