The menu is always changing from day to... read more This is my second time dining at The Provincial, both times with a large group of friends and both times very impressed. The menu is always changing from day to day so best to check online if you’re looking for a specific dish. Our group had a great server she was attentive without being intrusive. I really liked the array of appetizers all made fresh and tasty. The drinks were well balanced and delicious. My main dish was the hanger steak with whipped potatoes and roasted carrots. All cooked to perfection and seasoned expertly. I can’t wait for my third visit.

The lamb was nicely done, but I wished the sauce would be more heavy to bring out the meat flavor. The yogurt sauce is good but just wasn’t the best fit with the lamb. Dessert I had the limoncello cake, it was okay as it was a bit plain and lack of character. The cocktails were very creative and it’s New York level. Would come here again as this is a farm to table restaurant and the menu changes daily.

Salmon cooked exactly to order which is infrequent in our experience. Sharing a small plate and a large plate is quite ample for two adults if you're not famished. Drinks are great. Draft beer taps are selected so don't expect a large selection.

Every appetizer, and dish is carefully crafted with care and come out delicious. Wine list is decent and the prices are beyond far. They treat our 5 year old daughter withrespect and her usual, the white sauce and noodles is a winner. Lexi is our go to for server always attentive.

We... read more Would have loved to get a chance to try the food here but we were unable to ever be seated and their treatment of guests left us not wanting to ever go back. We arrived at 6:30 last Friday and requested an outside seat. The hostess said no problem, itwould be about an hour and took our name and number. We walked around downtown Apex for a while and grabbed a bench to sit andwait. Finally around 7:45 we went back to check on our spot in line. The hostess said that we would be unable to be seatedbefore close outside because the outside guests were taking too long and that they had meant to call us but forgot to. We wereflabbergasted by this type of treatment. We understand places being too busy to get at table at, that happens all the time. Butyou can 't agree to seat people and have them wait around over an hour and never give them an indication that they won 't beseated. If you 're too full that 's fine, let us know upfront and we 'll search for another place and try your restaurant later. But now we are left with a sour disposition about The Provincial solely on how we were treated in being forgotten to notifythat we 'd never be seated . That 's just unacceptable.
