I recently visited this restaurant and had a truly enjoyable experience. The standout dish was undoubtedly the fish—it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend giving it a try!Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for its delicious fish dish, but a bit more focus on cleanliness would take it to the next level. What Daniel Jang doesn't like about Mr. Dumpling:
Need to fix the AC asap buddies. We got around $75 worth of food. That is a picture of the spicy crispy fish. Tastes great but that portion is not worth $20.Food is overall not bad but not great. Only go here because it's a 5 minute drive vs teipei101 which is a 24 minute drive. View all feedback.
I ordered the assorted dumplings and they were well worth the money! Each dumpling was very filling, and you can tell they’re handmade. They put a lot of filling in each one. Delectable. My boyfriend’s mother ordered drunken noodles and they weren’t too greasy or salty! They are quite understaffed so service is four stars. It was also too hot when we went (not sure if there was A/C). The Szechuan fish is outstanding tho!
I've always thought of Mr. Dumpling as a takeout place and have been relying on Uber Eats for their food. But then, I heard they hired a chef from a popular Sichuan restaurant in NYC, so I decided to try their spicy dishes, and wow, was I impressed! My husband and I used to go to another spot in Raleigh, but the quality went downhill. Finding Mr. Dumpling was a blessing! We ordered the Sichuan Boiled Beef, Mapo Tofu, and chili chicken, asking for everything extra spicy. Explosions of flavors and just the right amount of Sichuan peppercorns left us feeling amazed and a little numb!Oh, I almost forgot we also tried the spicy beef tendon and tripe for an appetizer. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark, and we won't be ordering it again.Service wise, it was a breeze to order through the QR code, and the server was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. They even have a fun dice game where you can win a free drink and a rewards program on their ordering app sweet!Just a heads up though, this place can get packed even on a weeknight, so be patient. In summary, our experience at Mr. Dumpling was fantastic. They've won a permanent spot in our restaurant rotation. If you're craving authentic and flavorful Sichuan cuisine, don't miss out on this gem!

I heard that they got a new chef from NYC mansion house so I had to try their grilled fish. Its true. Food tasted great, much better than before. I will try the boiled blood curd next time.Food: 5/5
