**Dining Experience at Bojangles: A Mixed Bag** Bojangles has garnered a range of experiences from its patrons, highlighting both charming moments and frustrating encounters. While some have praised the friendly staff and clean environment, others have faced issues like incorrect orders and inconsistent food quality. Notably, concerns about undercooked bacon, cold fries, and stale biscuits have emerged, leaving customers disappointed. Despite these setbacks, the iconic chicken remains a favorite, with many expressing hope for improvement in both service and food consistency. While some loyal patrons cherish their visits, others are hesitant to return, reflecting a restaurant in need of a customer service and quality boost.
This is an amazing restaurant! The service is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I celebrated my birthday here, and they made it a truly special occasion. My daughter traveled from Florida to surprise me, and she always visits this place as soon as she arrives—without fail! I love her so much. I've created so many happy memories here!
Today, I returned at around 3:40 PM, and there were five cars ahead of me. By 4:00 PM, I had still not moved, and I noticed that there were eight cars behind me, all waiting silently. A few customers grew frustrated and left, while I remained hopeful for some progress. Finally, I moved five cars ahead, managing to reach the window by 4:08 PM. The employee there told me to pull forward to wait for my Bo Cheddar cookie. I was taken aback and reminded him that I had been waiting since 3:40 PM. It was now 4:08 PM, and I couldn’t believe the situation. His response was dismissive, rolling his eyes and suggesting I should just wait for my cookie. After this frustrating experience, I felt the need to write a review. It reflects poorly on Bojangles’ customer service. I rarely go to McDonald's, except for the occasional ice cream coffee, but today was a stark contrast. I went through their drive-thru in just five minutes—order, pay, and pick up—simply seamless. I also remember a time when an older woman at Bojangles delivered incredible service with a warm personality, but it seems the younger generation lacks those essential customer service skills, demonstrating little respect for others and a noticeable lack of professionalism. It's disappointing.
I had a truly awful experience at this restaurant. Three employees were openly criticizing the previous customer’s car, complaining about how people use it, which is surprising given that they are one of the few places open after 9 a.m. in Apex. They seemed completely uninterested in their work and treated my order as if it were a burden. One employee even remarked that he could lose his job for how he had treated the car before mine. It was extremely unprofessional, and unfortunately, this isn't the first negative experience I've had here.
This Bojangles is decent, perhaps slightly below average. The food is moderately fresh, but the fries often come out cold and a bit stale. However, the chicken supremes are usually quite good. The biscuits could be a bit fluffier and could use a little less cooking time. It tends to get busy during peak hours, so we go to the High House location more frequently, which is definitely a bit better.
I absolutely love their sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. While waiting, I took a short walk around the building. The order-taker was a bit hard to understand—was he sleepy, standing still, or mumbling? My stomach was definitely growling louder! However, the woman at the drive-thru window was friendly and great at multitasking. It was enjoyable to listen to her while she worked. Overall, the whole experience took less than five minutes.
