Description

A neighborhood gem for handcrafted subs, this spot delivers fresh, generously portioned sandwiches with homemade-style bread, expertly arranged toppings and memorable potato salad. The streamlined menu (subs, wraps, salads) and friendly service pair with an Old West–inspired interior and views of the Superstitions, making it a go-to lunch stop. Prices are reasonable, but occasional waits can occur when staffing is light; ordering ahead is recommended for a speedy experience.

As for the sandwich itself, I'm hard to impress since I enjoy cooking, so I'm only impressed when a place does as well or better than I can. This place did not disappoint. The onions and tomatoes were sliced just the way I like them, and they carefully arranged all the toppings I requested so that every bite offered a taste of everything. Unlike other places that haphazardly throw a bunch of ingredients on a sandwich, making it look chaotic, this sandwich was expertly made. All the toppings were notably fresh, and the sandwich had the perfect warmth to melt the cheese just right. I have to acknowledge the attention to detail and their dedication to quality, even in the way they laid out the toppings on my sandwich. It hasn't gone unnoticed, and I truly believe this is the best sandwich I've ever had—without a doubt. It's nearly impossible to make a bad sandwich, but this one sets a new standard for excellence in my opinion. If this is how they prepare sandwiches every time, I see no reason to go anywhere else for now.

Local and delicious! The bread takes us back to the good times. Everything we've tried has been great. The service is consistently excellent. Whether you prefer this or that, we absolutely love Subslingers!

Another downside is that there was only one person making sandwiches. This meant that if there were other customers or call-in orders, it would significantly slow down service. I ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes despite being the only customer in the restaurant at the time, as a woman called in to place an order just as I arrived.

Fantastic sub shop. Food is excellent and service is good too. Fresh bread was my favorite. You can get your choice of sub and it comes to you within 5 minutes. Loved eating here!

I love a sub sandwich and I enjoy supporting local establishments. This one opened about 3 or 4 months ago and I have to be honest this is probably one of the best sub sandwiches I have ever had anywhere and that includes California. The bread was just slightly toasted as I requested and instead of ham I had turkey and Let Me Tell You Folks if you haven't tried this place you need to try it, it is wonderful
