H... read more My original review may have been inaccurate. Here is my update: The service was spotty and i was handed a menu that i could not read unless i wore binoculars. Having a huge selection means they should have more than a couple of pages in tiny type. In the dim lights, and tiny type, there was no way to read selections, and servers were not much help. That made for the bad experience.

The selection of beef dishes never fails to impress, and the live music is usually fantastic as well. Whether we're visiting as a family or on a romantic date night, we always enjoy our time there. The atmosphere is welcoming year-round, with plenty of outdoor seating and heating available in the winter months. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the city or looking for a great place to eat.

Rained on Saturday so patio was closed or I would havebeen back. The group I was with were also first time local customers, they all ordered food and all had good comments as well. Last special thanks to Lisa for the outstanding bar tender service. She helped pick out a couple pours, friendly and made mefeel welcome.

I was seated at the bar, another thing I rarely do, and was surprised by the varied menu and asked the bartender for her suggestion. The Mahi Mahi fish tacos were amazing and so large! Two were more than enough. The sides are varied and again, portions more than ample. Another surprising find . . . Menu is mostly gluten free and some nice vegetarian options. Service was friendly and made everyone feel at home. Patio looks amazing and they do cool it with evaporated coolers. Seemed nice and definitely something I will experience when it's cooler! Such a friendly place! Met a few other single diners who we're enjoying their meals as much as I did mine. Even though an hour away, I am all ready making plans to go back with friends!

Their unique and fresh dishes, like squirrel with maple and pecan or zucchini with roasted peppers and onions, were all delicious and reasonably priced. We tried a variety of beers, both in pints and in a flight, and they were all great. Even though they were out of a few beers we wanted for our second flight, the waitress recommended some of her favorites and they were excellent. Just a heads up, they only serve beer and wine, so if you're looking for cocktails, you'll have to go elsewhere. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were fantastic, and the food was amazing. Definitely a great spot for a night out - we'll be back next time we're in town!

The first time I visited was on a blind date, selected because it was a convenient midpoint and chosen at random. It turned out to be a delightful surprise. The reviews I had read described it as the best-kept secret in Apache Junction, and I couldn't agree more. That was two years ago. I have been back several times since and would come every week if it were closer to my home. The food is top-notch, the service is always excellent, and the beer selection is impressive - 27 different types on tap tonight. And did I mention they also have live music? Fantastic. I can only say one thing: It's definitely worth it!

I had heard from the Handlebar Pub of one of my co-workers and she was on site. First, the outside of the device is very deceitful. Do not leave this you from the amazing food and ambience that this place has to offer. When you walk in the front door, you will be welcomed by friendly staff and patrons. It is a modern, well decorated bar, but this is just the beginning. The WAREN is out! The full pepper appetizer (with smoked pork, Monterey Jack cheese and a Chipotle sauce) has so much taste. We ordered a second after eating the first (split between 3 people). For dinner, my husband ordered a steak that was seldom cooked to perfection medium and my friend and I both burgers. They were unbelievable as the pages of the Bleu potato salad and walnut-ball cheese Coleslaw. The craft beers were refreshing and Dustin our bartender was ready to try everything we wanted to try the apricot yeast wheat YUM. We will definitely be back, we must try the smoked chicken wings on Tuesday nights. They won't be disappointed.
