Description

Nestled in AJ, this chic, impeccably clean spot is known for some of the valley’s best bánh mì, warm crisp bread, vibrant vegetables and well-made spring rolls. Drinks — including Thai tea with boba — are refreshing, and friendly, efficient staff make it an ideal lunch or takeout stop; packaging keeps ingredients crisp. Drawbacks include small portions at times, variable peanut-sauce texture, extra charges for sauces, and a cramped parking lot by a busy street.

Keep up the great work, everyone! The food we had was incredible, and the quality was top-notch. The service was excellent, too. It did take a bit longer for our meal to arrive, but we didn’t mind at all because it was so fresh when it came. Everything was simply fantastic. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and charming! It was busy when we arrived, and I completely understand why. Since we’re not from the area, we decided to try this place because we were craving banh mi, but unfortunately, they were out of bread that day. I’m not even disappointed, though, because what we ended up eating was outstanding. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the packaging was done very well. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely return. I love supporting local, family-owned businesses like this one. I was pleasantly surprised to find such quality here in AJ!

It's alright. Honestly tho I usually only get their spring rolls so I can't review the whole menu. The counter guy is a bit smug but what I order is ok. And I usually take my food to go. They charge more for extra sauces which can click the bill up. I'll go back when I'm on the mood for spring rolls again. But I'm in no hurry.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! It's family-owned, with the husband managing the front counter while his lovely wife crafts some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I enjoyed a double meat special loaded with fresh veggies, spreads, cheese, and a whole lot of love. This family and their food are truly amazing!

I love a good Bahn Mi' almost anytime of day or night. One of my top ten asian foods. I was driving back from a visit in Gold Canyon with relatives, and thought lets stop and try someplace new on the East side of town. I found Saigon Noms on yelp and headed there.Clean, bright, small cute little spot right off the road. Modern menu, bright lights, clean, checking off all my favorite boxes so far.The order taken, young man in early 20's my guess was trying to be polite and friendly, but just wasn't pulling it off.I asked for lighter ice and extra water in my tea, the way I prefer it. He said no. Hmmm, simple request, denied, deduct star. Food had good presentation, the Tea was ok, the bahn Mi' was just ok, and I added Fried egg to it, which should have kicked it up a notch already. I had to ask for Sriracha, which I felt was a weird request. No Fish sauce or Hot sauce, chili sauce in a Vietnamese restaurant. I always want to support locals, and i would go here again if no other asian cuisine available in the area, but it's lacking the positive energy to elevate it and make it a go to place.
