Pizza Hut - Apache Junction
Pizza Hut
Description
Pizza Hut balances warm, hospitable service and occasional culinary highs with frustrating inconsistency. Servers are welcoming and sometimes go the extra mile—sit-down dining feels mellow and family-friendly, and gluten-free pizzas earn praise. However, guests report unpredictable wait times, order mix-ups, thinning toppings and dough, and delivery-radius confusion between app and store. When staffed well the pizza can be phenomenal; when busy, expect delays. Worth trying for casual meals, but best to order ahead.

You can no longer call the store directly; instead, you have to go through a call center. If you order online and need to make a change, they charge you again, and you just have to hope they don’t end up placing a completely new order. When you select option 2 on the phone to change your order or get an update, you only receive a status update before the call disconnects, wasting three minutes navigating prompts and then having to call back. It’s quite frustrating, especially when trying to get a mild dipping sauce, which corporate refuses to include on the website and insists you call the store for. Unfortunately, that’s no longer possible without going through multiple steps. If you want wings, it’s worth spending a little extra at Wingstop instead; Pizza Hut just isn’t worth it anymore. Get wings from Wingstop and pizza from Little Caesars, and you’ll end up having a better experience with less hassle.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The service and food were both exceptional. Our server, James, was friendly and engaging, making our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. As someone who needs gluten-free options, I was thrilled with the delicious gluten-free pizza, which was also reasonably priced. I can't wait to return with my family!
I ordered a pizza online and got a smaller pizza, not the one I ordered. The pizza was stone cold. On the receipt, it had the wrong name. The pizza i received had been ordered 2 hours before I ordered. I tried to contact Pizza Place and was connected to a woman that I had to repeat everything 5 times. 30 min later they called me back, saying they didn't have the address. Then the driver called and had the wrong address. Pizza was cold, never again will I order from them.
Pizza Hut is using Door Dash in Apache Junction for deliveries. This is not conveyed until after you paid for the order online like I did. Driver cannot verify contents of the order as the Pizza Hut Employees seal the boxes before the driver picks up the order. Not a smart way of doing things. So my poor Door Dash Driver needs to go back to the store, pick up the rest of my order and make a 2nd trip. I already had tipped him 25%, so I hope Pizza Hut compensated him for the mistake they made.
