This place is a hoot! Great wings, and don 't miss the hog wings! We got there at 11ish on a Sunday and got a table right away, but it fills up quickly and had we waited to long we might never have gotten seated. We say outside so we could listen to the band, look at the mountains, and see the horses with their riders come in. If you are in Phoenix, this is a place not to miss! View all feedback.

What Chris B dislikes about Ford Ignition Repair Apache Junction:
I am still puzzled as to why Filly's Roadhouse was not marked as permanently closed and instead renamed Ford Ignition Repair Apache Junction while leaving everything else unchanged. View all feedback.

Outside dining with live bands. However, I wish they update their menu for appetizers! Menu gets old after awhile.

Love the wings and the atmosphere. Waitress could've been a lot more friendly, but otherwise, we were satisfied.

Good food, good service good entertainment. Thanks so much. !!!Very clean also.

Filly's Roadhouse offers a lively atmosphere, complete with live music and stunning views of the Superstition Mountains. While the outdoor seating fosters a festive vibe, some patrons have experienced long waits for service, leading to frustration. The menu features notable dishes, including broasted chicken and tender barbecue ribs, which have garnered praise. However, service inconsistencies and a lack of updates on its operational status raise concerns for potential visitors. Overall, while some describe their visits as delightful adventures filled with good food and a vibrant environment, others recommend exercising caution before stopping by.

The BEST pull pork sandwich I ever had, soooo flavorful and the buns were so fresh and delicious. The ribs just fell off the bone. Busy place.

We ordered two full racks of barbecue pork ribs and they were absolutely delicious! They were the best ribs we have ever tasted, with meat so tender it fell off the bone and a flavorful barbecue sauce.

Fun place to eat. Good food, entertainment several days of the week and cowboys and cowgirls ride their horses here. You can have a few beers, dance, eat and look at the horses

We came here after a long, grueling hike up Flat Iron. This place was an oasis in the desert. Service was quick. Food was great. The live band on a Sunday afternoon was fantastic. People started dancing. They called out the Michiganders in the room, a few of us were, they immediately welcomed us and started up a chat. Gotta love your friendly Michigander neighbor! Hands down would come back again! Also, the stage theme is so cool and classy! Only con is they didn't have milkshakes! Haha.

I used to work at Filly's where they serve a chicken recipe that tastes similar to KFC. The chicken is shaken in BBQ sauce of your choice and served with a buttermilk Hidden Valley Ranch dipping sauce. The staff at Filly's were unaware that the recipe came from a cook at Arizona Joe's restaurant in Apache Junction in the 90s. It seems that Filly's took recipes from various other restaurants including Az Joe's, the Grand Hotel's steak house, Cobs, and Hackers.

Before visiting Filly's Roadhouse, make sure to check the date of each review to ensure it is up to date. Unfortunately, as of December 5, 2021, Filly's is closed and the phone number is no longer in service. It is advised to call ahead before making any plans to avoid any disappointment of arriving to find the restaurant closed. It would be a pity to show up with friends only to discover that the establishment is completely shuttered.

The best. Western setting with a beautiful view of the Superstitious Mountain. Live music and dancing in the bar. I will for sure be back.

Awesome broasted chicken at Filly's Roadhouse! We were there on the Sunday night and the live band made it a fun and festive Outdoor Experience. They had their very large outdoor patio open and the Sunset provided us a beautiful view of the Superstition Mountains right from our picnic bench. Our broasted chicken was served hot and very crispy, the cornbread was sweet and warm, and the coleslaw and potato salad we had were served nice and cold. Everybody was friendly and welcoming and lots of folks enjoyed the large dance area in front of the live band.

Showed up at 2:30 on a Sunday the outdoor seating was about two thirds full. Got seated And waited 30 minutes no server ever helped us. The servers we did see look overworked and hectic. Left without ever ordering. Only go if you have time to waste.

I want to mention that I previously reviewed this restaurant about three years ago and gave it five stars. My opinion remains the same—it's a fantastic local spot with tasty food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Over the last few years, the world has changed significantly, and review sites seem to prioritize safety measures over food quality and service. It’s becoming rare to find restaurants still offering full menus. Many reviews from before 2020 feel outdated, so I've decided to delete mine to reflect the current experience. I hadn't intended to dine at Filly's last night, but after another restaurant closed early, we found a warm welcome at Filly's, even though the kitchen had just shut down. They prepared a delicious meal of ribs, sides, and beer for us, allowing us to savor our meal at our own pace. The food was incredible, and the bill was surprisingly affordable. It's vital to support local businesses like Filly's, where exceptional service and great food are always the standard.

On Thursday night, my party of three adults and a seven-year-old boy dined at this restaurant. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even when the young boy accidentally spilled his drink. They quickly cleaned up the mess and moved us to another table without hesitation. The food was delicious, and we had absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend this place. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful meal!

The chicken strips at Filly's Roadhouse are exceptional—lightly breaded and wonderfully seasoned.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we met some friends here to celebrate, but I have to say the food was fantastic. The chicken strips were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the wings were excellent too.

We had a fantastic experience at Filly's Roadhouse, where we savored their incredible broasted chicken. The live band on Sunday night enhanced the lively and festive vibe of the outdoor setting. From our picnic bench on the spacious patio, we had a stunning view of the Superstition Mountains at sunset. The chicken was hot and crispy, the cornbread was sweet and warm, and the coleslaw and potato salad were served chilled. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and many guests had a great time dancing in front of the live band.

While some reviewers have voiced concerns about the service and the food, I recommend that you give this restaurant a chance! My experience has been fantastic. I've been there twice on busy Sundays and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The live music was outstanding, featuring two different bands. My wife and I had a great time dancing, and it was also perfect for some enjoyable people-watching. I especially loved the wings and hog wings. Just keep in mind that it’s a popular place, so it can get quite crowded.
