Went for Halloween. Seems like a nice place. Bartenders were all cool, as well as clientele. They have a couple pool table 's and a nice patio area. Only issue was karaoke DJ wouldn 't let us put in any songs. It was only about 10 and he told us he wasn 't taking anymore because he already had too many, even though it was our first time there and the rest were regulars . I mean for where this place is in a small town of AJ it?s a pretty cool dive bar. Food is good and the drinks are cheap. The people who come here seem to be very laid back. Doesn?t feel intimidating in here if you know what I mean? View all feedback.
Different staff. Very slow service. Not at all impressed with bar anymore. Time to find new place for friday fish.
I'm a regular at this bar and as an avid pool player I highly recommend the dog run to play or eat the very good food. The service is exceptional and in my opinion then best bar in the East valley if not the whole state.
It's always been a good time. You have pool, beer, food and usually some friendly people to interact. Bartenders are nice and attentive and get fast drinks.
An unusual change from the standard....not the institution itself...nor its offers... no, the character of Dog Run is found in its clientele. Grob, certainly not standard preppy country club (nor substandard CC either, but somewhere between rough cowboy and rough builders. And to add to the allure, all were kind and respectful....almost damonrunyonlike without the melancholy. The barmaid DaCinda(sp? was attentive and gracious, and the menu was reasonable. We enjoyed their Friday Fish Fry (Kod, 4pcs with Fries Coleslaw $18 on our Monday visit... would also have been on Tuesday thru Thursday, and yes, on weekends too. Friday Fish Fry is obviously a 7-day deal. Very delicious on our Monday, and I'm sure I'm just as good on the other six days. Now our visit may have been unusual, and not indicative of the usual Dog Run ambience.... I hope not. My dog race experience improves Apache Junction. It added the color of the community. I hope your experience too.
Will never go back.Took half hour to get food and we were the only order, don't go here if your looking for a peaceful meal. Music so loud the waitress got my order wrong.
