Arco Di Gusto - AOSTA

We arrive in four, we sit in one of the rooms (very nice) and wait to order. After 10 minutes they remember us, we order and wait. As our friend arrives and joins the table. After another 10 minutes they bring us to drink franticly, the newcomer tries to order a coffee at the table, and he feels to answer “Listen, come to the counter that there are so many people”. Now I understand why we never entered.

We decide to try this longue bar and we sit in the dehors to taste the specialties offered. We order 2 sliced and cheese dishes and wait. We wait, wait and after 42 minutes we are finally served albeit in installments between a certain confusion. Rather ordinary food, incomprehensible account and its voices: service at table 1€, hell???? 3. And then it's hard to pay by credit card!

A bar like many others that seems to be who knows that but in the end it is nothing but a mediocre place with educated staff but rather cold and apparently little prone to be worried that the customer is satisfied to the bottom. Minimum indispensable service, a small tray of croutons for four people but all in all the price was proportional to what they served. That's why we came back again, also because the walk was over there and so we were resting a little bit refreshing the throat. But the second time we had a surprise to say a little ridiculous. Well as it was the day of Ferragosto the prices had increased almost 50% and to our question as never we were tested that it was August and they were there to work for us and therefore the aperitif cost more!!!! I've never seen that.

My husband and I went to this bar to drink something cool late in the evening and we were very well. Outdoor tables and despite the time they also brought us abundant appetizers! 5 stars especially for the courtesy and sympathy of the staff, especially Eleonora who conquered me, very good, always with a smile. The service in a local is important and here is not missing! Good Eleonora! We'll come see you a lot!

Local where you can also taste fast dishes, despite the service a little slow. Cute the dehors, with view on the Arch of Augustus!!! Young and kind staff and prices in the norm. A tip, make some menus to take to the tables, as the board at the entrance is not comfortable, you have to get up to read what to order.
