Contribute FeedbackWe first visited juni a cozy lunch to celebrate our jubilee. auberge de briant was actually our second choice our first in anzy le duc was full of a tourist bus reservation that filled out the whole restaurant. after a short trip through the beautiful and hilly landscape, we came to auberge de briant, and when we finished our meal, I felt like a thank you to the driver of this tour bus to encourage us to look for this place. as a weekday only two tables were occupied at lunchtime. the restaurant is located in a beautiful bucolic environment, but the space itself is clean and modern. we had two complete menus with an amuse bouche, a deer, a lazy (magret de canard,) cheese (we both went with aged cheese instead of ausage blanc with obst,) a desert and coffee. the total costs, along with a 50 cl carafe of decent Rhône wine, were about 80€, which I was worth as excellent for what we received. service was timely and friendly, but not intrusive. the view from the huge window of the valley below was spectacular and every product we were served from the muse to the coffee was excellent. I like to eat well, have decades of experience eating in fine restaurants (and cheap street food stalls) about the us, canada, and in Britain, France and Italy, and I am a decent cook myself, but I could not identify anything that I had changed in the food that was prepared and served in auberge de briant. it was as good as I would have asked, and any change would have only reduced its quality. highly recommended.
Green hills, white bulls, a small village and a wonderful restaurant! filipe and angélique, the very friendly owners will welcome them with open poor. we had an excellent bark fillet, and I can only recommend the history of bullen as an appetizer! Great wine card, delicious. desserts and an impressive cheese offer! very recommended, any time in the year!
Is this the best pizza I've ever had? No. Is it really damn good pizza? Yes. This is a very popular spot with indoor and outdoor seating.
Very averagethe sauce was not flavorful and instead reminiscent of some of the worser pizzas i had in italy.
Not sure what's gone wrong here, possibly the expansion has stretched staffMy last visit just wasn't as great as I remember.
