If you’re new in town and in search of a new go spot to, you must not miss Barzar. Cozy decoration with fancy sofas Amazing staff to get to know and service you at the same time. We met there Guy, which guided us through the cocktail list, that contains some great twists of the classics and also made us have a great laugh and a perfect experience !! The cocktails were perfectly balanced and the crew the bartenders there truly know their stuff ! Seriously, I will never forget the day I visited this bar and I’m sure that you won’t forget it if you go either ! It was perfect ! 10/10

Original review: Went here about a month ago for some after-dinner cocktails. The interior design is fantastic, it's a really cool place, very nice vibe, and a cool aquarium with interesting fishes. I quite enjoyed the music as well, some old-school hip-hop/R&B kind of tunes, a welcome change from all the electronic music that's all the rage these days. Staff was friendly and fast enough in serving us, so no complaints there. Unfortunately the cocktails we had were very subpar. I asked if they did espresso martinis (not on the menu), they said of course, so I decided to have that, and it looked the part, but unfortunately it was one of the worst espresso martinis I've ever had, didn't even finish it. Not sure what they put in there, if it was just bad quality coffee or they added some weird vanilla syrup or something, but it was a very strange kind of sweet and none of the things an espresso martini is supposed to be. Boyfriend had the Mai Tai, which he didn't like at all, but I thought was okay. We swapped drinks and I ended up drinking the Mai Tai instead of the espresso martini, which was alright. Not by any means the best cocktail I've ever had, but pretty inoffensive (also not very strong at all). Still had a reasonably good time because it's a cool place, maybe I should go back to try something else again, but for a first visit, I was less than convinced.

This case is also open longer than most cocktail bars in Antwerp, so it's definitely convenient after dinner. When we just gave up taste clues and asked us to make a cocktail that was the closest thing we'd expected to do. The Old Cuban is now favorite? Nice and smooth service!
