We had strollers for entrée, steak and chicken on the oven, three plates were very good cook, very tasty. With live music the environment was very firm, we had time to dance a few music. And of course the Portuguese spoken was a big plus. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cabo Verde:
I know this place a long time ago and loved it. I returned now with friends, 4 yrs later, and got a ridiculously expensive bill. The food was clearly below standards. Pity. View all feedback.
Great food. family business restaurant. I can recommend fish dishes.
The restaurant itself is brightly lit and inviting on those cold and dark November evenings. We have eaten here twice now and the first visit was overall not bad. Unfortunately our second visit we did not enjoy the taste of the food. We ordered a starter of fried frogs legs, which, in fairness was delicious in contrast to the main course. If you're wondering the taste and texture is identical to chicken. If you were blindfolded you would not know! For our main courses I ordered half a chicken, whilst my better half ordered spare ribs. It was a week night and the restaurant was not busy. The staff were friendly but the ribs were cooked or defrosted in a microwave and when we tasted them the taste was of undercooked ribs and they had a bland taste. Whilst the chicken was delivered just as described, half a chicken with nothing except a few mushrooms and some sauce. Overall very disappointing. I doubt we will return.

Delicious fish, friendly service, beautiful location in the new former warehouse district of Antwerp near the MAS.
