Waves - Antrim
Waves
Description
Waves restaurant has been a long-standing favorite for many, with loyal customers raving about the fresh and tasty fish and chips. However, recent reviews paint a different picture, with complaints of declining quality and poor service. Customers have noted rude staff, small portion sizes, and slow service. While some still praise the wide variety of options and delicious food, others have vowed never to return due to negative experiences. Waves seems to be facing a crossroads, with some long-time fans disappointed in the changes they have seen at this once beloved chippy.

I will never come back to this restaurant again after witnessing the way the owner treated a young man with food allergies. He sent his meal back three times before finally getting up and leaving.
I have been dining at Waves for many years and have never had a bad meal there. I have tried other fish and chip shops in town but none compare to Waves. The food is always fresh and hot.
I found myself in the area, working late and craving some food. I was in the mood for some good fish and chips at a diner-style restaurant. Waves was exactly what I was looking for - the batter was crispy, the fish was juicy, and the chips were chunky but not greasy. I highly recommend this restaurant.
