Cafe de la Gare - Antony

Had a lunch here. I was a bit late, but they were able to provide a very fast service. I liked the duo of fish and the price was very reasonable.

This is a typical french style brasserie and café. Just where you would expect it: near a subway station for your convenience. To meet with people, have a coffee, a lunch. The atmosphere is just nice. On top of that, the waiters are quick and correct. It's a pleasure to go there time and time again.

The Café de la Gare is neither good nor bad. It's an archtypal French café where people grab a café before riding the train to work, or have a dring on their way back home. Service is expedient with a smile only on Tuesday afternoons every even month between 14h15 and 14h35. I have never tried eating there, but I would expect it to be just like any other café of this kind: decent but not so exciting steak & fries, quiche and Croque Monsieur.

Had a light lunch here with my sister. Very fast service with reasonable prices. We had Welsh Rarebit - French stile - Beautiful.

Seriously folks, their cheeseburgers cannot be beat.. I am a vegetarian who cannot resist a delicious cheeseburger from Café de la Gare.. So, if I decide it"s time for a little meat, this is my guilty pleasure... I grew up in the heart of Hollywoood,...More
