What Lacey Kutch dislikes about Congo Grille:
I had this week birthday of my wife. first I had to kill a rach under the table. the grilled chicken was completely black, like coal. the boneless chicken was like a hockey puck cooked far over. the calamari appetizer and calamari main dish were practically raw. our groundless icy tees were not even refilled. we were off 256 peso all became sick the next day with skin problems and protect this place on your own risk! Congo Grill is at the Lower Ground Floor of SM Masinag in Antipolo City. We've eaten here a few times on weekdays since the place looks quiet and has only a few customers. We've tried their Beef Kare-kare, Pork Sinigang, Pork BBQ, Sisig Kapampangan and Beef Caldereta which were all okay but nothing extraordinary. Also, the beef on the Caldereta and Kare-kare were a little tough. We learned that they're now currently undergoing an uplift. Noticeably, the menu has been trimmed down to the most popular items. Nes, their cordial and pleasant Manager has told us that some more improvements are on the way. Their famous primate on the logo previously seen 'with a beer on its hand' will have a different pose soon. We hope this upgrade will reflect all aspects: food, service and ambiance.
