Lovin Oven Cakery - Antioch

Stephanie is amazing! We accidentally decided to wait until the last minute to pick out our cake and searched for a few bakeries in the area and ended up finding Lovin Oven. We spoke with Stephanie and she set up a ‘to-go’ tasting box for us to take home (we do not live in the area we got married) and it could not have been better! They included 6 different cakes and I believe 10 different frostings/fillings, which was plenty to do 2 taste tests and be sure we liked our decision! We only had a hard time deciding because we loved them all! They are extremely reasonable on pricing and delivery! We almost ended up paying $300 just for delivery elsewhere!! Go with them if you want an easy booking experience and DELICIOUS cake!

We love this bakery and have over many years turned to Lovin Oven for our wedding cake, birthday cakes and drop ins for donuts and cookies. I ordered 20 sugar cookies for my daughters birthday. I was told to pick up on Sunday around noon. When I arrived at 1 pm they were closed. $80 worth of cookies and they were also closed Monday. They didn’t call, send a reminder text nor mention on the phone they closed at 1 pm. I also asked for the cookies to be individually wrapped as they were being handed out at a softball game. When I picked up on Tuesday they were in an open box. They are not fresh and not what I asked for. So. I will be reconsidering patronizing the bakery in the future. Very sad.

The donuts don’t seem to be as good as they used to be. I know they changed owners, did they change recipes? The glaze donuts were always nice and soft and moist, now they’re dry, and they fall apart. Experienced this several times now. Staff was friendly….

This is by far my favorite Bakery ever. They have great breakfast too. If you're ever in Antioch you have to stop in and try any of their delicious creations. I don't know what I would do without lovin oven!

Although this is a beautiful bakery and clearly the beautiful products, I'm very bothered by the outrageous hike in prices over the last couple of weeks. Yes there is inflation and cost has gone up but this hike was too extreme! Every item has gone up considerable amount of money, There is such a thing as fairness we understand expense however this seems to be straight up greed and taking advantage of people Which caused many people to be angry therefore
