I purchased a chocolate tres leches cake for my husband. I went to different places and called 3 other places and nobody would make it and said it is not available or they needed a week to 2 weeks notice. I finally called this place and they said they could do it but I needed to make the order in person and do it as soon as possible since I was only giving them 3 days. The cake turned out perfect! It was so moist and... View all feedback.
What Fit D doesn't like about La Cascada Panaderia Y Botanas:
If you ever feel like you don't wana wait for your food and want to call in so it's ready for pick up don't choose this place. I call every time to get my order and every single time I walk in they have no clue that I even ordered. View all feedback.
They sell jericallas here and they taste amazing, finally found a local place that makes them just as good as the ones in Guadalajara!
Only tried the torta so idk how good anything else is but it was very good. Gave them a 4 stars because one time I ordered over phone and told me 10 minutes then 10 minutes later I arrive to store n they havent even started making it and didn’t even know I ordered but at the end they made it in 5 minutes
Was craving an empanada de crema and decided to look up some bakeries, since I'm new to the area I was not sure which one would be good. But we came here Saturday around lunch time and was greeted nicely and they have a good variety of pan and I was happy to see that they had elote! My fav, so we got some pan and an elote and it was reasonably price. I'm excited to keep coming back here for my cravings!
Really enjoyed the fruit. I got the crazy watermelon and it was so good. Fruit was very fresh and nothing was precut besides the cucumber and jicama I believe. We saw her cut the watermelon and mango and it was delicious. I don't speak Spanish very well but the cashier who mainly spoke Spanish was very kind and got my order right. The two ladies in the shop the day I came in were very sweet and quick to help or run to the register to ring people up.
Found this hole in the wall mom and pop shop and it was decent. Got the tostilocos which disappointing because they put pickled pork strips in it and I had no idea because it wasn’t in the picture posted and I don’t eat pork. Also got the Sandia Loca which was packed with a variety of fruits, peanuts, and tamarind bits covered in chamoy sauce. I purchased some conchas and was disappointed at how stale and hard they were, definitely tasted like they were a few days old. The elote in a cup was perfect. Had the right amount of mayonnaise, lime juice, tajin and cheese. I will definitely go back for the fruit bowls and the elote. Customer service was great and staffs were friendly.
