Frequently came 8 years ago (2014-16), food was great. Finally, in April 2022, food was still so big. My heart felt proud and happy when I saw how good they did and the updates they made in the restaurant. KBBQ was delicious! (Photos from 2016 then 2022)

This small hole in the wall is my favorite Korean restaurant in Nashville. Since I returned from one year on board in Korea, I really tried to find certain things like 짜 (black bean noodles and 떡볶 떡볶 âTMa (cream rice cake but this place has both and it is sooooo good! Also the Katsu was huge and amazing and our server was so sweet! It is also right next to a Korean market so that you can store on all essentials afterwards;

Wonderful experience in Hai Woon Dai for my first Korean BBQ in Nashville! Service was great and fast. We had a nice time!

This is your go-to Korean BBQ restaurant in Nashville area i.e the city still behind other cities in terms of KBBQ. A little bit on the pricey side especially meat dishes. *For those who never had Korean BBQ before* first thing they would be asked when u goes in is whether you want BBQ table or regular. BBQ table involves open grill table cooking grilled meat (you can cook the meat on your own or staff can help you). You need to order grilled meat menu if you get the bbq table. Furthermore, you can also order regular dishes from the menu. On the other hand, If you get the regular table, you can’t order KBBQ dishes like Samgyeopsal (pork belly). So know what you want to eat ahead. The place is also quite busy at times so plan ahead.

Very good Korean food tons of options. Not your typical generic menu and preparations. They have a variety of both traditional dishes and also a vast BBQ meats selection as well.
