Bridgehead Cafe - Antioch
Bridgehead Cafe
Description
This restaurant is a local gem that offers generous portions of delicious food, perfect for breakfast or lunch. The servers are friendly and welcoming, making every guest feel like a regular. While the decor may not be fancy, the greasy-spoon cooking is tasty and affordable. The homemade cinnamon rolls are a must-try, and classic diner fare like omelettes and hash browns are perfectly executed. This place is reminiscent of down-to-earth cafes, where the waitstaff like Tammy are friendly, funny, and sassy. Overall, this is a great spot to enjoy good food and great service, whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor.

The food was great here and the service was even better. I had the California Benedict and itc was spot on. Thanks for the delicious breakfast. The food server was very nice and made sure I had a great experience here!
This icon of a restaurant held it 's own for it 's great menu selection and portions. On my day of visit to review and sample the breakfast and restaurant, it just didn 't hit the mark. The building is run down, the seating outside at picnic style bencheslooked as if to say, I 've seen better days. The large portion of Chicken fried steak and eggs were nothing to write homeabout. Run of the mill creamed gravy with pepper. The steak itself was fried right and okay to the taste. The eggs didn 't comeout as ordered and we 're overcooked; however, the server replaced the eggs made perfectly as 'reordered. '
Good enough for Grandpa good enough for me. This is a classic American diner. I came in for breakfast while on the road and I was the youngest patron by 20 years..... and I'm 49. Good old school menu of harty breakfast items for a reasonable price. Goodspot, good food, No frills.
I was really wanting top notch fish n chips on a Sunday. I will say the people at the cashier area are absolutely fabulous, friendly , courteous, so much like ?Mom and Pop?. The food amount was so generous. The price reasonable . However, the fish wastriangle shaped, frozen fish, tasted ?fishy? was greasy . I do believe the place is homey, the people warm, friendly, incredible food portions. I also believe their ?specialties ? may be their other offerings , as breakfast, lunches, though, notfish. I would definitely visit again, for those do recommend for those, as well.
I waited on hold for 15 minutes to call in my order, ended up driving to the Cafe told them to hang the telephone up. Only about 6 tables with customers so no reason to have kept me on hold. Lady said, "oh I must be getting senile. "Visited June 28,2024 Ordered the food took it home it was disgusting not even edible. The biscuits were dry no taste to them we threw the food away. The biscuits gravy have gone down hill with the new owners will not eat here again!!!! ?
