The restaurant was full of German people and he gave them all shots before, during and after their meal. He also had shots every time with the customers. The fact that we were not German, we were not offered any shot even after the meal. Disappointing as the food was actually very good but would not return.

The waiter... read more Food menu is only available on QR code if English so since husband didn't bring his phone I had to read it out to him or keep passing my phone over. The waiter interacted with the locals but didn't bother with us and we were left for long periods just waiting for service and table clearing. We noticed only the locals got a shot with the bill too. Felt quite let down as didn't feel welcome, food was ok.

It has always been one of the best German restaurants and if anything it has improved. Matthias is such a jolly host, it is infectious. We eat here twice, The first time we had the shared platter as a starter, too much, but delicious. For mains we took rabbit and roast lamb shoulder, with a tasty Krautsalat. On our last night we pre--ordered the roast kid, which didn't need a starter, as it was huge. We took it with two different side salads to share and saute potatoes green beans with bacon. It is not cheap, at Euro 85 for the kid meal for two,

Menu on a Bar Code in loads of languages, making it very easy to order. We both chose Shoulder of Lamb €21.90, which was cooked to perfection served in a sauce with little roasties green beans. Absolutely amazing quality taste. We didn't order a Starter as the crazy) waiter offered us Rolls with Olives Aioli Dip followed by Sauerkraut, he kept saying it's free, mmmm no it wasn't free it cost us €3.50. Total Bill with 2 Beers .400ml) €3.60 a water €2.40 was €56.90, bit on the high side, but it was Special on a Special occasion.
